Gucci Spring featuring Melijoe Paris

Gucci is always a mood no matter the season. The kids-wear collections from the iconic brand are must have pieces for every mini’s SS19 wardrobe. Melijoe Paris is the go-to one stop shop for all things luxury children’s wear and their edit of designer labels is top notch.

When these Gucci track pants dropped Mr.P had to have them! He’s into animal everything+ the color pop print makes them a winner. Logo mania is still a thing and this cool iridescent tee is the best!

Visiting the Gucci store in Soho was a dream. Combing art and fashion is the hallmark of the brand,  The recent addition of the brands Wooster bookstore is a must see ( well worth the the trip ), for a curated collection of text.  You’ll love the  many cool rare finds from niche magazines (  Mr.P and I were kindly gifted a ode to Dapper Dan issue of  “Interview”) to books by fashion photographers.

A perfect afternoon in Soho include scooting around  ( in style of course), and people watching.

Ready for the Stage…. Broadway here he comes!

We like to mix it up for his looks. His new favorite sandals by Maison Mangostan.

He felt right at home in the Gucci store and they treated him like a Prince

Faux Fur Swag, Style Musings

HeLLo Friends!

Faux Fur is Life|

Hope everyones New Year is off to a great start. The past month has been bonkers with work and homeschool so a break from our Instagram page and le blog was in order. P and I have reset, got in tune with our inner light and we’re ready to return refreshed and with new perspective. We are so excited to be back with a look featuring a fresh design from Sew Knot Bias.

There is no better way to take an outfit to a ten than to pop on a faux fur. They are next level fabulous and of course block out the chill during cooler weather. Mr.P is a massive fan of faux fur, or fun fur as he calls it. We adore the fuzzy faux fur styles from Bobo Choses and Stella MCcartney.

This all black number has my heart and will definitely be in heavy rotation this winter. With this look we are channeling our usual  mix of Pharrell Williams , Kayne West with a dash of Ian Connor for good measure. If you ask me any kiddo would look amazing in one of these jackets, which by the way can be fashioned into any color (to suit any mood). The Prince is coming for all the Style Vibes in 2018!

I have decided that instead of saying the usual “I wish this came in my size”, I would just start twinning more with my mini style muse. I can’t let him have all the fun. Ha!  I’d happily trade my last year’s fashions for a chance to glow up next to P!

Until then let’s marvel at these gorgeous pieces that can work from playground to the news stand.

P went full on super rock star and wore his golden light up POP Shoes. I swear this kid gets stopped by admirers everywhere we go! I feel like I am his personal mama-razi/ bodyguard. The usual questions go something like “Who is this stylish young man, and Why is he so fancy”? There is absolutely no reason at all to wait for an occasion to be “fancy”. Everyday is a good day to throw on a faux fur and golden kicks and be the best you on the planet. Life is too short, so be as God created!

The Prince & the beach | Dirt and Noise

I may have mentioned on the gram sometime ago that I was bi-coastal at one point in my life and had spent a few years living in a few different parts of California.  I really wanted the Prince to be able to connect with family and to see another part of the country so I decided to come to LA. It has been so wonderful to be in the sunshine and enjoy this special time with loved ones!

Spring time is here, which for many means getting out and doing more fun activities with your littles. We are enjoying our stay here in Cali, and we have finally made it to the BEACH!

I really wanted to take P to Venice beach as I have many memories visiting that beach as a teen. We headed to Santa Monica Pier instead, and I think I made a fab choice!

The weather was a bit chilly and the sky was overcast but we didn’t mind a bit. The crisp salty sea air was perfect, and the ocean was very calming to my spirit. For our beach adventure Mr.P wore some retro-Cali inspired pieces from the lovely children’s shop Dirt and Noise. They stock the coolest brands to keep your babes so fresh and so clean (Cue Andre 3000 tune).   I am always talking about kids fashion being mostly about function, but your babes have to look good too right?

What outfits do you like to dress your babes in for spring?

Until Next time
