Summer Street Style || Childrensalon

Mr.P and I are always game for a trip to NY. To be honest I’m always torn between wanting to live there full time or be content with just a visit once in a while. It’s really fun being to explore NYC with P and relive my childhood of running all over the city with my mom!

Part two of our city adventure was hitting the streets in these gorgeous Burberry trousers and neon Balenciaga speeds from London based shop Childrensalon. I’ve had the pleasure of working with the store for the past two years. I am always amazed on much the children’s fashion industry has evolved and how Childrensalon has stayed ahead of the curve and brings the best brands so your littles can stay stylish!

These pants were a huge hit in P’s street style look. They are part of a two piece suit but we decided to make the look more casual and paired it with a Adidas tee and these ah-mazing Balenciaga trainers. I about died when I saw them in person. They are so perfect and make any outfit come alive!

Its hard to find P without his XO sunnies. They have become part of his style just like his cool hats!

The  fun part about being fashion bloggers is serving as a guide. To show how you can be fearless while having a ton of fun when styling your babes.  Fashion can be seen as frivolous, and at the end of the day children don’t “need” to wear fancy clothing.  At the same time it makes such a bold statement on dressing for what/who you think you are and will become. P and I want to show how you can use fashion to have fun in this crazy but very beautiful and inspiring world. I hope to give Mr.P the idea that the world is his and to make the most out of life. And looking fly while on the journey is totally ok too!

HeLLo Friends!

Faux Fur is Life|

Hope everyones New Year is off to a great start. The past month has been bonkers with work and homeschool so a break from our Instagram page and le blog was in order. P and I have reset, got in tune with our inner light and we’re ready to return refreshed and with new perspective. We are so excited to be back with a look featuring a fresh design from Sew Knot Bias.

There is no better way to take an outfit to a ten than to pop on a faux fur. They are next level fabulous and of course block out the chill during cooler weather. Mr.P is a massive fan of faux fur, or fun fur as he calls it. We adore the fuzzy faux fur styles from Bobo Choses and Stella MCcartney.

This all black number has my heart and will definitely be in heavy rotation this winter. With this look we are channeling our usual  mix of Pharrell Williams , Kayne West with a dash of Ian Connor for good measure. If you ask me any kiddo would look amazing in one of these jackets, which by the way can be fashioned into any color (to suit any mood). The Prince is coming for all the Style Vibes in 2018!

I have decided that instead of saying the usual “I wish this came in my size”, I would just start twinning more with my mini style muse. I can’t let him have all the fun. Ha!  I’d happily trade my last year’s fashions for a chance to glow up next to P!

Until then let’s marvel at these gorgeous pieces that can work from playground to the news stand.

P went full on super rock star and wore his golden light up POP Shoes. I swear this kid gets stopped by admirers everywhere we go! I feel like I am his personal mama-razi/ bodyguard. The usual questions go something like “Who is this stylish young man, and Why is he so fancy”? There is absolutely no reason at all to wait for an occasion to be “fancy”. Everyday is a good day to throw on a faux fur and golden kicks and be the best you on the planet. Life is too short, so be as God created!

Mr.P on Zoomin TV || Featuring Alex and Alexa

When life gives you lemons you make some bomb lemonade, or in our case an AH-mazing video with Zoomin TV.

Zoomin TV approached us several weeks ago with an awesome opportunity to do a behind the scenes look at how we get down for our Instagram and blog photos. While we do try to give an accurate portrayal on the gram, its by no means instant. There’s actually quite a lot of planning from wardrobe to location, but ya’ll already knew that.

Speaking of locations….

We knew that this opportunity would be a cool way to show some of our favorite spots in Atlanta! Ponce City Market is such an awesome location for coffee, shopping and just chilling. We met our videographer at Rudy’s Barber shop to get P a fresh cut for our photoshoot.  I can tell you that it was so much fun snapping photos and P scooting around Atlanta in his uber cool outfit from Alex and Alexa.

For P’s first look he rocked the beyond  gorgeous Moschino branded button up top and black jeans. We paired the outfit gold skull loafers from cult kids brand Akid .

Mr. P’s hat game is seriously next level, and has most grown folks trying to be down.

Fallen Broken Street’s hats has been our go-to for a few years now and the quality is exceptional. Oh and yes they have them in adult sizes too!

His fur collared Carbon Soilder coat was giving me all the Luka Sabbat vibes (our current favorite teen model mogul it boy). We often get asked if P loves fashion and the answer is YES! If I was to be completely honest, ice cream would be first, but he has always enjoyed expressing himself through his style. I am all for it as his modeling has made him more outgoing and confident.

Our experience shooting with Zoomin TV was top notch,  we certainly look forward to future video projects!

Until next time lovelies!

Have a fab week,

Much love from the A

Summer Vibes | Circa 81 KIDS

Happy Monday!

Summertime is all the way here in Atlanta! Mister P has been enjoying the warm weather, playing outside with friends and endless ice pops and fruity drinks. As a parent the challenge of course is to keep the littles occupied and to try to keep them from saying that dreaded phrase “MOM I’M BORED”

We adore Atlanta and very soon I will do a post featuring all the fun things to do with the kidlets during the summer break. For now we are loving taking it slow and easy, reconnecting and of course doing it in style with new gear from Circa 81 Kids!

P and I chose this gorgeous outfit from Jean Bourget, which is super comfy and perfect for all of his summer adventures. The palm print shorts have a wonderful feel to them, very light and airy, which I love! We paired with the matching tee and of this cool cap from Stella Kids and sunnies from Sons+Daughters.

I love fashion. There I said it and I am not ashamed. My mom was a fashion lover model /actress in the 70’s. We had Harpers Bazar, Vogue and Essence mags on the coffee table. Its in my blood, and while I realize that its not a life or death thing, Its importance in culture is undeniable. What P wears is not the most important of course. Raising a healthy ( in mind and body) young man is forever my number one goal. However by showing him the best, in what I can gives him a baseline standard. You cannot deny that when you look your best you not only feel better but you do better. Ok….. maybe not always, but its worth a shot right?

Circa 81 Kids carries an awesome selection of cool designer and luxury clothing and accessories for your babes! So loving having another dope shop to get P kitted out for summer. With brands like Someday Soon, Jean Bourget, and 3 Pommes you are sure to score the perfect look for your mini fashionistas.

*Shop at Circa 81 Kids with code PRINCE15 for 15% off your purchase!

Have a wonderful week friends and thank you all for popping by!

Much love
